A note just in from Stella and David Rankin, who run Kevock Garden Plants, winners of several Best in SHow awards at Ingliston..... their garden is open this coming weekend under the SGS banner........
there's mention of "home bakes"...... ooh!!..........
To get there......Kevock Garden is at 16 Kevock Road, which is on the edge of Lasswade, about 5 miles south of the centre of Edinburgh. Kevock Road is to the south side of the A768, between Lasswade and Loanhead, and is distinguished by a sign to Drummond Grange Nursing Home. Kevock Road bends immediately to the right, and after 200 m bends sharply left, down a hill. Number 16 is facing you at this second bend. It is a modern house with a flat roof.
Parking should be on the right side of the road as you approach number 16. To find more detailed map, postcode for search is EH18 1HT.
For those of you in reach of Edinburgh our garden at 16 Kevock Road, Lasswade, EH18 1HT, is open under Scotland’s Garden Scheme this coming Saturday and Sunday, 18th and 19th July from 2pm to 5pm. (Directions are under Find Us on the website) We shall have a large plant stall and there will be opportunities to discuss design and planting lists if you are interested. Home baked teas might prove the final incentive to come. We hope to see many of you there.
