Might be able to help with a bulb Mark but too late now. It wouldn't be until they die down in several months time. (Not up yet but on the way.) I have seedlings of the "good" form - as I see it - with wider petals but my bulbs are of the form var.
linearifolium, with narrower petals. (Or is it liniarioides?) And you'd have to do the hemisphere thing. But this form sets good seed every year with no intervention from me.
