Looking for Arisaema species...
« on: July 06, 2009, 10:03:21 AM »
Trying to find seed of Arisaema elephas, and A.propinquum.
Any leads would be much appreciated.
I will have Arisaema, Arum, and other woodland perennial seed to exchange.
Also some NZ alpines.
Thank you.

Would be happy to help if I could. I've never had A. elephas and my 4 propinquums died, I think of dessication in a couple of drought years. They never seeded anyway. Have you tried Eric Watson in Hamilton?

Green Mile Nursery in Belgium is a good source of Arisaema (and other interesting woodland plants) seed. http://www.greenmilenursery.be/zaadlijst.html

I think you are too late for this year but worth bookmarking for next year.
