Garden Of Light - Botanic Gardens Dundee 27-28 February
« on: January 12, 2010, 01:55:29 PM »
The University Of Dundee Botanic Garden will be transformed on 27 and 28 February 2010 by a light and sound show that has been specifically designed to highlight the plant collections and grounds.
This show is an important feature in the garden's calendar and aims to not only raise much needed funds for the maintenance of the garden, but also raise awareness of the role of botanic gardens. so please pass the word.

Visitors will be able to explore the gardens after darkness falls and walk through a new world of illumination and hear the specially commissioned music and sound effects from around the world which have been inspired by the worldwide plant collection. With features specifically designed for younger visitors, this event is the largest of its kind in Scotland and truly a family affair. What better way to say goodbye to winter and welcome the first onset of spring in the garden.
