My new rock and water garden

Soon after moving into my new house I wondered what on earth to do with the outside swimming pool.  Why anyone would want such a thing in the first place beats me but still.
Phase 1
Having removed 20 tonnes of builders rubble ideas are starting to flow.
Phase 2
The all important drainage and rebuild the walls.
Phase 3
Add 11 tonnes of stone 11 tonnes of soil.
Phase 4
Add the pool, plants and tidy up.
Phase 5
THE ALL IMPORTANT PHASE A GOOD LONG HOLIDAY

Thanks for showing us all your hard work, I do so enjoy seeing what members have done in there gardens.
 
I have a pond in my garden, put in before we built our house and I get so much enjoyment out of it. We made a BIG mistake back then we never thought about the position of the pond. We had three huge trees that blocked most of the sunlight to the pond so two years ago we felled the trees and now I can grow water lilies after 16years of trying .

Worth all your hard work,  now you can sit back and enjoy.

What a wonderful transformation. And there's still plenty water if you want to dabble your toes. Of course it could have made a great bulb frame too.
