First flowers on my Iris domestica "Hello Yellow"
I have sown this seeds in year 2011 - march 29.
The seeds I have received from a nice friend from USA ....( impossibly to get here this plant or seeds in Europe )

What precisely is Iris domestica? It looks like a Sisyrinchium, maybe from the flower and the foliage, S. striatum?

Once known as Belamcanda chinensis Lesley, but yes it does look rather like Sisyrinchium palmifolium.

Oh right, thanks. The only Belamcanda I've had was B. chinensis and it was spotty orange. The pics just didn't seem iris-like to me.

It grows like Iris confusa, but I domestica always falls victim to slugs for me
