Hyacinthella nervosa

This morning i went to the Jordan Valley area to take photos of the early bulbous plants in flower.
Hyacintella nervosa is a rare plant growing in a few sites in the Jordan Valley, Judea Desert, Jordan and all the way up north to Turkey.

their habitat is not the most inviting looking place, is it? Seems to be a lot of space though.

You are partly right...in summer it is hell but today was a beautiful, 23c sunny day, surrounded by lots of birds and flowers and a scilent that exists only there, you can hear a fly coming from a mile....

There are about 45 Allium taxa growing here, the first should start blooming in a couple of weeks the last one around September, I will post some photos later on in the seoson.
