Gold Medal Success at Gardening Scotland Show- June 2011
« on: June 03, 2011, 03:25:30 PM »
From 3rd to 5th June  Gardening Scotland, Scotland's largest garden show, will take place at the Royal Highland Show Ground, Ingliston, near Edinburgh.

The SRGC will be present at the show with a publicity stand and is contributing to a show stand in partnership with  SRGC Members David and Stella Rankin of Kevock Gardens.

Latest News from Edinburgh.......

Kevock in collaboration with the SRGC  has won a Gold Medal and the Alf Evans Award for the best commercial alpine exhibit.   8)

Huge congratulations to the Rankins and all the SRGC helpers who have made such a super stand.  Thanks to them all and for those who will be working hard all weekend to staff the Club Stall.

See this thread for more... including lots of photos from Stan Da Prato of the setting up of the Kevock/SRGC Stand  http://www.srgc.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=7334.0

Congratulations indeed. The pictures which show the whole process from beginning of set up through to the finished, prize-winning exhibit, are a lesson in hard work, good design and dedication to a high degree. Well done everyone.

Didn't they do well for us... and only a few points behind the best in show too.  Many thanks Stan for your photos showing the build and pats on the back to all involved in this success, well done indeed. 8)
