Cimicifuga/Polygonatum/Smilacina seed wanted

Hello,
I am interested in seed and/or plants of Cimicifuga/Actaea species, Polygonatum species, and Maianthemum. I am most interested in those from east Asia, but am also interested in any collection with locality data tied to it. As far as Cimicifuga I am also interested in the western N.A. species (arizonica, elata, and laciniata). Why C.arizonica is easier to obtain outside the US is strange. It seems that way far too often.
In exchange I can send seed and/or plant lists of available species. The seed is a mix of garden stuff and wild collected things (Kansas praire 2006, Appalachian 2007), and the plants are various wild collected (at one point, and then propagated), or from the garden.

I have seed of Polygonatum zanlanschianense, and a Cimicifuga species collected by the ACE expedition in 1994. How were you thinking of getting the seeds through customs?....

Hello,
I have always just posted things with the risk of them getting caught, which has only happened once in 7 years to a very expensive package of seed from the Archibalds. Most of the time if a customs form is required I label it "botanical specimens, scientific use, no value." which in my case is true since I work at an herbarium studying plants, and also grow them.
Was that P.zanlanscianense photo also posted on the PBS website? I sent in an ID on it last year or the year before. I grow that species, but I have never gotten seed or fruit even. Would love to have more than one clone.
The cirrhifolium group is messy bunch.

What Forumists do between themselves is their business and theirs alone, I must point out, however,
that it is SRGC policy to adhere to the regulations of this country and to those of other countries and the SRGC Seed Exchange only sends seed around the world in compliance with international and local regulations and legislation.

That was my inquiry on the PBS site also. My plants always set a great deal of fruit, hence a forest of self-sown seedlings!

Anne,
Nice polygonatum. Are the flowers pink/red or is it jsut teh buds. Don't think I've ever seen a Polygonatum with so many buds per node. Then again, haven't seen that many Polygonatums I guess!!
Sorry this doesn't help you Aaron.

Hi Paul, the flowers don't open much further than seen on the photo above, so WYSIWYG unfortunately.

If anyone would like seeds please email me privately, but quickly, as most are promised elsewhere.
