No Stephen you shouldn't E. grandiflorum ssp pallidum ,(white anthers), flowers regularly here in our woodland garden in a trough.I have posted pics of them flowering somewhere previously on the forum .I find the clump has not increased the last few years maybe because of the need for fresh mix ,(neglect !). I am growing quite a number of seedlings on ,but not from this clump as it has never set seed. Chers Dave.
