It's always a delight to see all the uncommon plants you grow, Paul.
Keep on posting!

Paul, is Geranium ruprechtii growing like G. pratense?
Luit van Delft, right in the heart of the beautiful flowerbulb district, Noordwijkerhout, Holland.

Sadly Luit died on 14th October 2016 - happily we can still enjoy his posts to the Forum

Paul, are all your ruprechtii pale?
I grew some from seed which are flowering this year, the plants are big clumps and don't flop. They have been magnificent but mine are a deeper blue than yours.
Would you like to swap some seeds?

I just have one plant of G. ruprechtii, and yes, it is very pale. Looking very much like G. pratense also, but the flowers are somewhat bigger. We can swap seeds sure.

a couple of views of the common Geranium richardsonii which grows wild here from open roadsides/meadows--where it may be exposed, but among other vegetation, grasses etc through edges of woods and into fairly shady spots-a couple of healthy clumps on the north side of a shed in my yard, and right underneath a matgure spruce as well..
mostly white--some pure white, most with pink veins which can be so extensive as to give an overall pink flush (i don't think i shot any of those this year, but can prob find old shots if anyone likes)..
some variation in petal shapes, too..
these are from this album:
