Martin, of course you are absolutely right that any communication is good and keeping in contact with people is hugely important (particularly when working from home) I felt somewhat guilty about my remarks as, in fact, both our young use Facebook enormously, as do their friends, like an online diary of their lives and a way of keeping up with what's going on in their busy time scales. They can choose how private or open this is to the public but they do have friends who have been hounded from time to time.
This Forum has been an amazing source for communicating interests and finding information and support from Members all over the world....no way would I be without it so i suppose it is similar. However, I like to think that the communication we have is a tad more uplifting and stimulating - there I go again
