Middlethorpe Hall near York
« on: April 08, 2011, 11:39:04 AM »
After leaving Anne and Barry's we went off to spend 2 nights at Middlethorpe Hall near York a present from our daughter and son in law to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.  The building berlongs to the National Trust and is run as a hotel by the Historic House Hotels Group. Here are some pictures of the garden. There were some interesting trees, masses of Narcissus and an interesting walled garden.
