Pleione formosana f alba

Hi,

just read through last year's entries on a similar subject to try to solve the controversy regarding Pleione formosana 'Snow Cap'. I bought a few from Jacques Amand recently and they were invoiced as Pleione formosana 'Polar Sun'. Looking at pictures of both, they look remarkably similar. Is Snow Cap a synonym for Polar Sun?

I flowered both this year and could see no difference.

Three Pleione x taliensis clones. One from Ian Butterfield that I showed previously and two more that have appeared in a pan of P. aurita. These are confirmed as they arrived by a legitimate mix up in my order.

1. Ian Butterfields
2. White throated
3. Yellow throated
