Travelling in Iran
« on: January 20, 2008, 02:41:17 PM »
I consider to visit Iran´s Zagros Mountains with in late April and early May to see bulbous plants, Dionysia´s etc. I would welcome any information on travelling in the Zagros Mountains and about the plants that grow there. What are the most useful reference books and is it easy to find accomadation? Is it safe to travel independently with a small group?

Kees

my long time friend Dieter Zschummel has been several times on self organised trips.I do not think he has ever had any trouble and has been warmly welcomed wherever they went. I am sure he would be pleased to help you.
