You are welcome :) We tried the Ligularia here but it proved impossible to grow under our climate.
Thank you Margaret!

David, please call me Maggi... everyone else does  :)

I am told you have a fine collection of Aroids at Lyon - are you able to grow these outside?

The problem (for me) with public rest rooms that are best left to the imagination, is that I immediately DO imagine them, and wish I hadn't or couldn't. ???

Lesley, do you prefer the below Nepalese version instead then? Don't ask me why but I also took a picture of the "spectacle" on the inside but I won't show that one as it falls under your catagory "wish I hadn't"...... ;)

Problem was I needed this toilet as I got sick the evening just before we had to go over a 4200 meter pass so had no choice.....

Well that's quite a nice little stone building Pascal. I hope it was useful to you, but thanks, for not showing the inside. ;D

A 4200 metre pass! Yikes, you certainly needed to go! :o

Trust me, Lesley, they are far, far worse than anything you could possibly imagine... Pascal's little hut looks like a castle in comparison! ;) Thanks for the ID, that does indeed look correct! I have a similar one in flower from one of the Czechs, if you remind me in a month or two I'll send a few seeds.

Thank you Maggi  ;)
Indeed we have the National Aroid Collection in Lyon. These are mainly tropical species but we have some aroids outside as well such as the Arum collection. Arisaema seem to do quite well in Lyon too ...
