Not yet (actually I didn't know it was there, even though i'ts within walking distance of home). Is it in the nature reserve part do you know, as I let my membership of the local natural history society, which would have allowed me access to the reserve, lapse several years ago.

Also, is it likely to be as good as this one which I saw on the Dolomite trip this year? (Still working my way thorugh the photos from that trip so I have posted any others yet).

Yes the plants were as nice Peter,i watched a Chris Packham tv show the other week and he showed the plants,this link tells also of the plants there on the reserve.http://www.english-nature.org.uk/citation/citation_photo/1000988.pdf

It's been too long since I visited the reserve, I really must rejoin the Natural Histroy Society of Northumbria again - they apparently do an excellent botanical field trip every Wednesday, and I need to make preparations for my retirement. ;D
