PS The slideshow was punctuated with pictures of large sticky chocolate cakes for some reason which I cannot understand???

Do you think that they might have thought that we were obsessed with chocolate and cakes  ::) ;D

Surely not, Angela  ::) ;)    I'm sure the audience realised that the cakes and desserts from around the world were symbolic of our diverse membership and evidence that we forumists are so busy in our gardens  or travelling that we work up a good appetite......... 8) ;D

ahhh, I thought all the cakes were there to symbolise how friendly everyone was  ;D

when friends get together coffee and cake is never far behind, unless of course they are lads, in which case it is usually a  different  beverage  ;)

That too, Susan, that too..... you are quite right, we meet friends, we have coffee and cake..... it's the perfect analogy!

Not sure that bitter and cake really gels, maybe mild would be better ;D

It has taken me a while to translate all this from woman-speak into English, but I think you are all saying that you cannot resist choccy cake.

I am now standing back and taking evasive action to avoid injury !!!!

Funny, Darren only noticed the chocolate ones as well. So maybe it's not just the women who can't resist it?  :)  :D  ;D
