my bank (HSBC) charges £9 when I make an on-line payment into a foreign bank.

Looks like I need to change bank as I can't even do foreign transfers online but have to either go in or post the printed form off. That's a big difference in price.

I really love this forum. People are outstanding helpfull when you ask a question. I make take you up on your word Maren. My bank charge med 18 £ for making a check. I would be much happier to send thees money to one on the forrum than to give it to the bank. I will be making an order at Mr. Butterfield soon, so I will maybe contact you. Hope that will be OK.
