this plant seems so familiar, yet i cannot put my finger on it.
does anyone have any idea if it's identity?
alpines, ferns, bulbs, climbers, shrubs,annuals, tropicals, edibles, vegetables, etc

Agreed, although there are certain other plants that come to mind when looking at the foliage...  ;D

comparing with other google images, it seems it is vitex.
never met this plant before.
some friend sent me this picture, taken in the Chisinau (Moldavian Republic) Botanical Garden.
