Looking for nursery to supply to Canada
« on: February 17, 2012, 08:50:46 AM »
Hello
We have received an email from a gentleman in Canada who is searching for a supply of choice alpines to Canada ie high alpine Gentiana.
Please can anyone make suggestions?? Are there any nurseries in Europe exporting to Canada - i know this is fraught with problems.

What nurseries could you recommend in USA or Canada??

Of course there is the easier route of raising your own plants from seed which is easier to obtain across borders.

Thanks for any assistance. Regards

I've (obviously) never ordered plants, but I've received great seeds from Beaver Creek: http://www.rockgardenplants.com/

ETA: ...and this one popped up in a Google search: http://www.wrightmanalpines.com/

Both of those are wonderful nurseries, where is the person located? They could contact me as well, I have seedlings and divs to share
I am not obsessive when it comes to plant shopping, I just want two of everything....
