Dactylorhizas - just dug
« on: March 08, 2012, 12:36:57 PM »
I've just received some Dactylorhizas that I assumed would be pot grown. Shock horror they have just been lifted and very badly. There isnt much root left. Will they be OK?

Hi Mark,

I'm no expert, but i have tried to damage some Dactylorhiza badly when dividing a clump and i'm sometimes surprised that the damaged ones often survive. Give them a chance and maybe some powered charcoal on teh wounds.
