IMPORTANT FORUM INFO: PLEASE READ THIS!
« on: April 24, 2012, 10:54:14 AM »
Friends,  please be imformed that important work is being undertaken on the Forum site and because  of this no attachments will be possible for some time.

In fact the whole forum may become  "Read Only"  at some point, for an indeterminate period.

Fred is working like a trojan and we ask you to be patient and bear with us while this work is undertaken.

Meantime, with 238834 Posts in 7498 Topics across the Forum, there is surely plenty for you to catch up on!

Maggi,

Ah, so the recent hiccups are a sign of problems then?  That good old SQL error was telling us something.  ;D

Thank you so much for letting us know.
Cheers.

I'm not really sure that it was the case that the work is causing the hiccups, Paul.
Idea is to make some changes so we avoid such problems a bit better in the future.

Fast Fred is working on major "stuff" - which should benefit us all   8)

The fact that this type of house keeping rarely inconveniences us demonstrates how super-efficient Fred is. BTW aren't Trojans bad for computers? ;D

Maggi,

I wasn't implying that the work was causing the hassles, but rather than the errors were indicating there was a problem.  The hiccups were a symptom of the problem, not of the work being done to fix it.  I most definitely was not saying that Fred was causing the hiccups.... which is what I think you thought I said..... or at least what I think you thought I thought you said.... or you thought I thought you thought I thought you.....  :o

:-\  My brain just imploded.  Sorry.  :-[
Cheers.

Good man, Fred.

I seem to have become a read-only member these days so I will survive the work.

Ah yes, Paul, I heard what you said and I knew what you meant...... I think!  ;D ;D

Thank goodness Fred knows what he's on about, eh?

Anthony.... I think you have a good point there... poor choice of words for me  in this context to describe Fred's efforts..... just thought it sounded better than telling you the poor guy is working like a dog!  ;)

Funny how the information that we may not, immediately makes one want to do it. :) Attach, I mean, like the seed pictures I took yesterday.

My thanks to Fast Fred for the work he does so freely and willingly. I hope his most recent fishing trip has renewed his vigour and energy for the task ahead. A scent button then? ;D

And thanks Maggi for keeping us all so well informed, so quickly, before we're moaning and groaning again. You are the TOPS! 8)
