The Paul Christian Rare Plants website I got this from says they raised these from seed each year to ensure virus-free stock, so it's possible that some hoogiana pollen was involved, I suppose.
Paul Christian raised them from seed? - or the person who sells them to Paul Christian? I suspect that P C was supplied with the wrong plant in this case.

Second bloom opened today. This one strikes as having a more stolonifera-like form

My mother had this over 50 years ago, bought from the firm of R.E. Harrison in Palmerston North. They had others too, along with a lot of regelio-cyclus hybrids. Where are they now? The firm itself is long gone and I don't know of anyone who has any of these stunning plants in their gardens now. It's very good to see it again Tom. Take good care of it. :)
