Do you think so?  I think the positioning is similar in Pal's plant but not in Armin's, where, to my eye, the flowers are much more spread along the stems.
OK, Maggi, I can admit that Armin's is a bit different, but not necessarily a different species. I have seen similar variations in the inflorescences of several Sedums due to watering, feeding etc. I don't know hispanicum "in person" though :-\

Yes, it can be very hard to decide if a difference is simply variation or a real difference!  And not just in this plant, eh?!

Here 2 pages of S. hispanicum from An-Account-of-the-Genus-Sedum-as-Found-in-Cultivation-Praeger-R-Lloyd.
Luit, thank you for the details and the web link, 'blumen in schwaben'.

Dear friends,
well fed with new info I think it could be S. hispanicum too. :-\

I had S. hispanicum in my closer selection but excluded it because other sources reported it is always perennial and frost hardy up to -26°C.
Now I learn it can be annual too. The description fits quite well and the photo of the single flower in 'Blumen in Schwaben' matches.
My plant is relatively tender, leaves are flatened and branches break off very easy. It grows in semi-shade with me, not in full sun.

Luit, do have a description of S. diffusum too? :D ;)
Would be interesting to compare.

I have another ID request. Is it Saxifraga umbrosa?
Best wishes
Armin
