Rhodohypoxis 'Ruth'

Does anyone know what colour Rhodohypoxis 'Ruth' should be?
I bought dormant corms of Rhodohypoxis 'Ruth' this year.  I had seen it on Holden Clough website and it was white ( I did not buy it from there).  It is flowering and is pink.  Before contacting the supplier I thought I had better check in case I had got it wrong as I no longer have their list.
I 'googled' it today and found some suppliers said it was white and others pink.  On Flickr it was even double pink  .  How can you check if you've got the right plant when there is so much misinformation about?

The plant Rhodohypoxis 'Ruth' was awarded an A.M on 16th May, 1944, shown by Mrs Garnet-Botfield. The award plant was most decidedly white in colour.
There is a photo ( albeit black and white) in the AGS bulletin page 171 of 1944, Volume 12, No.2 of June 1944 - shows the pure white and rather lovely large flowers.

Thanks Maggi .  Don't know what we would do without you.  I'll contact my supplier and complain, but they do not grow the bulbs themselves so the buck will be passed to their supplier.  I'm not sure about their 'Fred Broome' either .  I don't think the flowers are big enough.  'Great Scot' is definitely correct.  A gorgeous deep red.
