Probably Cyrtanthus mackenii I would hazard? The Ifafa Lily. As Arnold said though, there are other possibilities.

I know this page but I dont think anyone fits real well. The plant I have is collected as seeds near Vredendal, western Cape if that is of any help? That should outrule C mackenii? Should also note that the plants behaves deciduous.
