Dianthus for identification

This is an older dianthus - clove pink which I have had for many years. Does anyone know it's name?

PS my scanner has been used a lot to scan on the glass different plants - usually roses.

It possibly is Doris. Thanks Maggi. I should have done a bit more investigating myself.

Hello Pat.  I don't think it is Doris.
Your bloom shows too deep fimbriation for a typical "doris".
 Doris is extremely floriferous, shell pink with a darker pink eye and is clove scented, a very healthy cultivar now almost 70 years old .From memory, I think is is also infertile, both pollen and pod.
Does yours set seed?

No it does not set seed. Has the clove scent aplenty though.
I will scan another flower and see if it shows any more details. Sorry the sprinkler was on so it is wet
Plus I found the other flower still on the scanner glass
It only has two rows of petals - 8 petals as you can see when I pulled the flower apart

I used to have three big troughs of 'Doris', 'Dennis' and 'Christopher' near a door. Scent was lovely and I thought of them as a trio of "friends"  Really robust plants, blooming over a very long period.
