I de-potted a multiple growth
C. kentuckiense a couple of weeks ago, put it in a no-hole tray for re-potting, got distracted and found it this morning in a pool of water, where it must have been all this time. Didn't look any worse for wear, lovely whitish roots and big buds, not a sign of rot.
I was amazed, but I don't think I'll make a habit of that. It's now in a big pot outside at home with a big label saying "Survivor". I shall keep an eye on it to see if grows OK next year.
