I have uploaded my Mallorca pictures to:

http://keesjan.smugmug.com/Botanical-trips/Europe/Mallorca-with-captions/     (plants in the wild, landscapes)
http://keesjan.smugmug.com/Cultivated-plants/Gardens-in-Mallorca/    (gardens, plants in cultivation)
http://keesjan.smugmug.com/Birding/Birds-in-Mallorca-and-Sa/    (birds)

These galleries still need some pruning at a later stage.

I have not yet managed to identify the following plants, any suggestions?

1, photographed at Puig de Masanella
2, photographed below Puig de Masanella
3 Helichrysum, but which one?, photographed at Salobror de Campos
4 Another Helichrysum, photographed at Puig de Masanella

As usual great pictures Kees Jan!
I think the names of the plants you are looking for are 1Helichrysum ambiguum, 2Thymelaea velutina, 3 Helichrysum stoechas (?)  and 4 Helichrysum italicum subsp. microphyllum(?).

Many thanks for your help Hans  :)

I'm very surprised by the Thymelaea ::) :o ::)! But I have had a look at some pics of it on the web and it fits perfectly. Never seen a Thymelaea even remotely similar though...

Thanks again.
