unprecedented season

Hello friends.  I have had such a wetter and cooler July this year
that I have Oncos, Regelias, Onco hybrids, RC's, and OG's
putting on new growth. They have never broken dormancy this early.
I had 3 & one half inches rain from Sunday night to Tuesday morning.
The 2 weeks prior added up to over 3 inches.

Sounds like crazy weather in Kansas, John.
Our season here in N.E. Scotland has been pretty different from usual too - we have had lots of hot sun and recently, some heavy rain - not what we're used too. It is having the opposite effect here of sending some plants into premature dormancy.

I hope your early growth on the Irises will mean that you get really strong growth and build up of the plants.

John all your hard work before planting will certainly be useful now with so much rain. We have had the best rainfall in July for years - 93mls with 45 last year.
