I've a 10 year old pond with slab edging. The slabs are set on a cement base, but are at a level that the top-up system for the pond just reaches that cement base level, so a smidgen of water reaches the base of the slab joins every so often.
The grass from the lawn has occupied this in the past
, but I grew some mimilus cupreus last year and was looking for somewhere for it, and realised that these slab joints would be great. I'm cleaning the joints out and putting in a piece of slate to
try and stop the grass getting through again (fat hope I suspect!), but what else as a very small plant that would like wettish feet could I add ?
Thanks
Rob
