The bog of Dahlem/Eifel

A few days ago I visited the 'Moorpfad' Dahlem near the German-Belgian border. There is a lot
of the typical moor vegetation and a large number of orchids.
Apparently there is a lack of maintenance which is resulting in increasing scrub encroachment of
parts of the area. Nevertheless it was an interesting visit during a bright shiny day.

Of course  , it was all around there - flowers were over.
