Mystery plants Kajmaktcalan, northern Greece
« on: July 28, 2013, 08:19:59 PM »
Any help with the following would be much appreciated. The first two are apparently something in Brassicaceae.

The last one is a bulbous subject with winged fruits.

Both species photographed in May at subalpine elevation.

The second plant, the bulbous one, looks like a Muscari species to me.

Hi,

The bulbous plant is an ornithogalum .... fimbriatum?. Wrong seedpods for a muscari.

Cheers, Marcus

 Hi Kees Jan,

first photo i would say Turritis laxa

the bulb is most curious!
unless it is a new species [most probably not..] i would say Ornithogalum boucheanum with deformed seedpods.
