Polemonium?

Yet another mystery plant from my new garden.

This one almost seems to have weed status, there is masses of it in several areas. I'm pretty sure it is a Polemonium. But the inflorescence shape seems very different from P. caeruleum which is the only species I'm really familiar with. The inflorescence in the picture is larger than most, many have only a single fruit.

If this plant has yellow flowers it is Polemonium pauciflorum

looking at your pictures I am a bit less sure that it's the same as my plant, the the basal leaves or your plant broader than the upper leaves.

Guess I'll have to be patient and wait until it flowers to be sure

Mine gave me an abundance of leaves and not many flowers and I was told to try it in a much leaner soil than is naturally available in my garden. At the end of the day the group of five seedlings I planted was in grave danger of taking over the whole bed and I removed them. I have one seedling left in the greenhouse that, if it survives the winter, I shall try somewhere else.
