Also other species offered like Iris acutiloba subsp. acutiloba, Primula farinifolia and Iris timofeewii were until now probably cultivated only in Russia and not in Europe or elsewhere. Everybody is afraid to go there because of danger of kidnapping or gunfights but the endemic plants of Dagestan - and there are many of - are very very beautiful. (Petr Němec)
