Anthony , I too have been growing G. corcyrensis for nearly 60 years here in Melbourne and find that it and reginae-olgae , r.-o. 'Cambridge' and peshmenii need a sunny ,warm spot to flower freely here . They start flowering in late March and had the last flowers a few days ago.
Already the first winterfl. snowdrops are in bloom here : G. ikariae ssp. snogerupii ( not a valid name ?) and 'Three Ships' .
