Mystery corms
« on: June 28, 2014, 12:47:53 PM »
Found these in an unlabelled pot. Small, the largest is 20mm across. Can anyone suggest what they might be?

Ferrarias. The side with the "navel" is the bottom one, even if buds are not visible.

My pleasure. Note that as they grow older the corms will grow one on top of the other and these must not be separated. The longer the "rosary" the bigger the plant and the better the flower production. Unless most others Ferraria corms are perennial and not renewed each year.
