Paraquilegia anemonoides
« on: January 18, 2008, 05:51:16 PM »
Hello,

I've been looking for this plant (Paraquilegia anemonoides) for a couple of years now and I can't seem to get a hold of one.
All the nurseries who normally sell it are either sold out or do not send plants by mail. Is there anyone who can tell me where I can find it.

Thanks

Wim

Hello Wim,
Our specialist nurseryman Gerd Stopp, Shakespearestr.10 in 09127 Chemnitz/ Germany has sometimes
plants to give away in small amounts which are not mentioned in his interesting list. Just ask him!
( No website!)
Voitech Holubec (holubec@vurv.cz) offers seeds of Paraquilegia grandiflora and P. microphylla (for the
patient gardeners.)
Greetings

Dear Maggi
thank you for asking, I am fine and hope for the same for you.
Our weather is similar crazy like last year, temperatures up to +13°Celsius and many plants
start to flower like Cyclamen coum and others in the open garden and the first Kabschias,
Narcissus, Dionysias and Primulas under glass. Heavy frosts could be fatal!
Greetings
Rudi

We are expecting hard frosts here this week but our plants have been sensible and are under the ground, mostly!
