I grow this Acis for some years outside in my meadow. By the way, Acis autumnalis is not hard in my garden.

That is strange. I have tried Acis ionica (or valentinum as they were named then) in a raised bed in my garden without any luck. First year only leaves and the next year it has disappeared. So I thought it wasn't hardy. So now I have it under glass.
Acis autumnalis does very well without any protection. They selfseed almost like weed. Some of them I have in a southfacing raised bed in full sun others in the border of a rather humid peat bed in partly shade. They do equally well both places.
I will get lots of seed, if you are interested I can send you some to try in your marvelous meadow.

Nice one, Fred! I have real trouble getting it to flower!
This one is a bit rosey but is actually Acis trichophylla,

Very nice form Fermides ! it's usually white and ir's the first time I see a pink form.
Does it come from Morocco ?
