An iris I raised from seed a few years ago which I think Otto, or someone on the Forum, identified as Iris taochia,

Hello fermides,
I may be wrong but I find your 'Jallab' looks surprisingly like 'Omar's Gold' that is much smoother hafted than 'Jallab'. Compare the photos of both on Wiki irises.

Here is 'Omar's Gold' (Boswell). Superb arilmedian, very floriferous, with foliage always very clean and healthy.

Hi Lawrence,
I've looked at the pics on the American Iris Soc's wiki and I think that some of them may be mis-identified! The description for 'Omar's Gold' is yellow standards and some of the pics show a mauve/lavender standard which is what I think 'Jallab' should have. Mine definitely has mauve/lavender standards and not yellow,
