Blackberry Wine' and Jacek quoted "Bleeding Hearts, Corydalis and Their Relatives" by Tebbitt, Liden and Zetterlund (2008) - "page 142: Corydalis taliensis ... is a perennial ... that is only marginally frost hardy. ... C. taliensis can be increased vegetatively, since the nodes of the plants often root when they come into contact with the substrate. ... Corydalis shihmiensis is similar to C. taliensis. "
But Kevock Gardens - from a chilly spot near Edinburgh says in their catalogue :
" We made the mistake of thinking this Chinese species needed protection under glass, and it grew until it reached almost from side to side of the greenhouse. Outside it behaves itself, with long, arching, branching, fleshy stems and grey-green foliage, with each branch ending with a raceme of deep reddish pink flowers."
Bob Brown of Cotswold Garden Flowers says it is winter-green in his area - the west-midlands of England .
