Looking for a few drops
« on: January 16, 2015, 06:44:42 AM »
I've lost these over the years and would like to replace them so hoping someone here has some spares they are willing to swap, i have some varieties in pots to go now but others will have to wait until we are closed & we start lifting clumps.

Barbara's Double
St Anne's
Bowles Large
Cliff Curtis

Consensus at last years CGS event was that my Mrs Backhouse No12 was wrong  :-\ so if anyone has some would also like that.

Plus any named gracilis, I have Highdown, corkscrew, Vic Horton, ex Wisley, ex Glen Chantry.

If anyone can help with any of those please PM me & will send a list of spares.

I have one that I bought in 2013 as 'Bowles' Giant' (which is in flower now).  Is 'Bowles' Giant' a synonym for 'Bowles' Large'?  I only have two bulbs so far, unfortunately.
Almost in Scotland.

Barbara's Double figures prominently on my dead list.  After many attempts I think I finally have her tamed. Do others find it so tempermental and difficult?

Never increased for me but it is a very neat plant.
