Does anyone have seed or plants for sale of these two cyclamen?
Just been searching for Tilebarn nursery and the website seems to have disappeared?

Saw one at Loughborough Show yesterday and would now like to obtain one

Also looking for seed from very dark forms of ruby glow and also stargazer - if anyone has any spare

thanks

Graeme - Peter Moore retired a few years ago and has closed the nursery. Your best bet is probably Jan Bravenboer at Green Ice Nursery in Holland. He does do mail order and sells plants and seeds. http://home.kpn.nl/j.bravenboer1/pages/plantlist.html. I don't know if you can get down to Wisley on Saturday? It's the Cyclamen Society Autumn Show and Jan usually comes over with a range of plants to sell. If you contact him beforehand, and if he has any in stock, I'm sure he'd reserve one for you to collect on the day.

I bought my plant from Green Ice - you saw it at Loughborough!  :)

Thanks for the reply - I had bought plants directly from Peter Moore some years ago - thanks for the link to Jan I will have a look and order one from him

I would like to make it to Wisley but unfortunately as normal work commitments get in the way

Was yours the plant on the on the bench just below the stage to the left ? If so it was stunning - I was also very impressed with the very dark ruby glows on display -

Bought loads of bulbs and plants - but always room for more..........

Steve

I have contacted Jan and he is holding all his remaining plants for Wisley tomorrow - do you know of any other sources who may actually have stock for sale?

Thanks

Graeme - the only commercial nursery in the UK that springs to mind is Ashwoods (http://www.ashwoodnurseries.com/shop/plants/cyclamen.html) although they don't list it. You could check if they have any growing on though. I have a pot of seedlings coming through (my plant flowered for the first time last year) but it'll be a couple of years before I can assess how many can be classed as Tilebarn Shirley/Greville!

thanks Steve - I had mailed them this morning and they say they don't have plants in their collection - I am going to Ashwood in a few weeks time as there are a few other bits I need as someone had given me £50 worth of GC vouchers - I have even looked in the Cyclamen society journal but it looks like all the small seller have now disappeared.
