Does anybody know what the final item on Kurt's list is? "KZ150 Syreitschukovia spinulosa  W Tien shan, Sairamsu". The genus is not found on Google.

You can find it on IPNI, family of the Asteraceae,  Serratula spinulosa

I think the spelling should be Syreitschikovia spinulosa  which is in the plant list http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl1.1/record/gcc-137556

What a clever lot you are - I'd never have managed to manipulate the spelling enough to get the answer! You fellows rock!

All  I did  is put the name in theplanlist.org search and delete the last letter one at a time, it comes up with suggestions once you get back to the beginning of a correct name .  Then you can normally see what the name should be  comparing to what you have too start with.

Most probably named for Russian botanist Nikolai Vasiliev Pavlov Syreitschikov (1893-1973).
