Fritillaria 2015
« on: January 10, 2015, 04:56:46 PM »
The Fritillaria Group has been updating its website which always deserves a visit.

And now the Group has a new forum devoted to all things Fritillaria   The forum is accessible from any page on the website (www.fritillaria.org.uk)  via the navigation menu at the top of each page.

Anyone can read it, but if you want to make posts you will need to register first – again, this is open to anyone, not just Fritillaria Group members.    8)

Already some great photos there, including by the king of the  wonderful Fritillaria Icones website, Laurence Hill

Enjoy!

Do we post Frit photos here?

In autumn 2011 I bought some Frit imperialis to try again. Most have flowered every year since 2012. This year I'm very happy to see some are very happy and multiplying very well

Those fat growth buds are full of promise - and almost certainly full of flower buds too  :)
It's such a promising time of year, isn't it?

They look good Mark.
I seem to have lost my 3-4 big F. imperalis.
They flowered nicely in the past 2-3 years and now they're gone.
The seedlings in the garden seem to do OK.
Are these short-lived?
Some of my creations :)
