Hello Jack,
a very nice Forum lady from South Uist sent me a parcel of live sphagnum moss in the summer. I distributed it over several containers, with a base layer of peat and ample supply of rainwater.
The moss is thriving and I hope to get it through the winter. Some of it is now in my unheated greenhouse, just to see what does better.
