Daphne 2016
« on: February 03, 2016, 11:06:56 AM »
I was very surprised to see a few blooms on this young Daphne genkwa which was only planted a few months ago. It has gone through a hot summer and some recent cooler weather but has been watered through the summer,
cheers

Daphne cneorum 'Eximia' from my garden today. This is a young plant and provided I don't kill it in the meantime should exceed a couple of feet high.

I've added a couple of other small growing daphnes to the bed with the D.genkwa including a two year old 'Eternal Fragrance' - it will be another year before I see flowers on it, but here's one in another part of the garden which is in bloom,
