Minigarden extraordinaire
« on: April 19, 2016, 09:25:35 AM »
Was invited to help with East Cheshire AGS minishow last night and was truly delighted to receive a 'minigarden' as a birthday gift.
This fabulous confection was created by Brenda Worsley and it is a genuine work of art. Hope you like it as much as me. :D
Thanks Brenda.

p.s. It has yet to cut! :P

Well-known though I may be as a greedy and enthusiastic consumer of cake, I have to say that to cut and eat that  fabulous creation would be a crime!   That is a mini-garden to rival the best in any show - the skill involved  from Brenda to   imagine and then construct that work of art is almost beyond belief.
 It is an ABSOLUTE CRACKER!
Without doubt the best cake ever seen in the forum ( and goodness knows, we've seen a few!) Brenda's skills are  worthy of the highest praise and recognition. ( Teatime chez Brenda and Bob W. must be a time of joy, don't you think?)
And you, Johnny D, are a very lucky man to have your birthday celebrated in such a very fine fashion!

P.S. I wonder if those so keen to find tufa to make a mini-garden should approach Brenda - hers looks pretty good to me! ;)

I am happy to report Maggi that the top comes off and reveals cake underneath - so we can enjoy our cake and eat it! ;D

My Mum was a cake decorator but did not branch out into floral creations. Well done.
