Ourisia cut back or not?
« on: April 28, 2016, 09:52:59 AM »
I grow several Ourisias, but they look a little untidy after the winter. I can cut any dead growth out but most new growth is appearing at the end of stems which are brown and the leaves dead which looks unsightly, should I cut the whole plant back ?

If I were you I would cut back very discreetly, not everything and not too severely. Try and find some low growth near the base before being too heavy-handed and I'd have every green tip you cut back, straight into a pot or frame for cuttings. don't waste any, "just in case."
